Ski-course prices at the "Top" ski school

Horse-drawn sleigh rides in Obertauern - Gnadenalm

Enjoy the tranquillity and romance of a ride with a horse-drawn sleigh through winter countryside covered deep in snow. Anywhere from two to 25 people can take part in a sleigh ride. The tour takes about one hour, starting at the Gnadenalm and taking you out to the Hintergnadenalm, then following along the stream to the far side of the valley, passing through wintry forests, then finally returning to the Gnadenalm.

Prices for the sleigh ride:

Night ride per person € 15,-
Children up to age 6 ride free, while those up to age 12 pay only half!

Snowboarding

The "Long-Play Park" by the chair lift at the Kehrkopf is THE gathering spot for all snowboarders. This attractive funpark has something to offer everyone!

Cross-country skiing

If you prefer to clamp on a pair of cross-country skis, then Obertauern is the place for you. We have an extensive trail network with countless routes, varying both in distance and in level of difficulty.

Winter & snowshoe hikes

Winter hikes and snowshoeing expeditions are a perfect way for nature lovers of all ages to enjoy an up-close-and-personal experience of the glorious winter landscapes of Obertauern. Our in-house ski instructors are always glad to assist.

Tobogganing

A fun-filled sledding expedition adds the perfect finishing touch to your winter getaway. Fun for the whole family, no matter whether day or night, is 100% guaranteed!

We want to make your ski vacation as pleasant as possible and to allow you to spend a stress-free time here at our hotel.

Only at the Hotel Rigele Royal are rental skis bookable as part of your weekly package. Once your reservations have been placed, your equipment will be ready and waiting when you arrive!

As part of our weekly package, we are able to offer you the very latest models produced by Atomic, Salomon, Head, Kneissl and Dynamic, up to a retail price of € 500 (Class 500) - surcharge €60 per week.

For carving skis exceeding a retail price of € 500 - special products such as race carvers etc. (Class 900), we charge an additional € 90 per week.

Skis are available for you to use from about 2:00 p.m. Saturday until 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The "Skiworld" sports shop and rental centre is located directly across from our ski-storage facility.
